The Von Ormy Police Department, established in 2018 from the former City Marshals Office, is dedicated to serving the citizens of Von Ormy, Texas. Led by Chief Lionel Perez Jr., the department is staffed with 26 full-time and volunteer police officers committed to enhancing the quality of life in the city. By working cooperatively with the public and within the framework of the U.S. Constitution, the department focuses on enforcing laws, preserving peace, reducing fear, and providing a safe environment.
